She had forgotten who she was, and where she lived. She was transported into a world of sunlight, emotional surprise, a world of poetry, delight, and humor.
She lived in that rare world.
She was a wonderful Story Teller, Writer & Poet in the early 20th Century. Eleanor Farjeon’s world is built of fantasy, romance, an abounding saying joy in the experience of life. It is the stuff that dreams are made of, a sense of wonder.
Eleanor Farjeon (13 February 1881 – 5 June 1965) was an English author of children's stories and plays, poetry, biography, history and satire.
